Marden Medical Practice

Coffee Morning

The Coffee morning that was held on 20th September 2013 in support of the Severn Hospice. Also on the same day the surgery supported the Jeans for Genes charity and asked staff to wear jeans instead of their usual clothing and they donated £2 to the charity. We raised £418.30 for the Severn Hospice and £56 for Jeans for Genes day. We would like to thank everyone who supported the Coffee Morning and gave donations!

The Severn Hospice is a charity close to the hearts of all staff at Marden Medical Practice with many of our patients and members of their families using the services they provide.

Jeans for Genes raises money for the Genetic Disorders UK Charity and aims to change the world for children with genetic disorders.

Individually, genetic disorders are rare but together they affect 1 in 25 children born in the UK – that’s more than 300,000 babies born each year.  Their associated health problems mean that genetic disorders are the biggest cause of death of children aged 14 years and under.  Jeans for Genes Day provides funding for the care and support for children with Genetic Disorders through their grant programme and each year they offer funding to a range of children’s charities.
